About Me.

I am a Clinical Psychologist registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC), with over 15 years experience providing psychological assessment and therapy across a range of clinical settings. Alongside my work in independent practice, I have held senior clinical leadership roles within the NHS, including leading a specialist Learning Disability service.
People often ask what type of psychologist I am. I believe good support begins with understanding the individual sitting in front of me. Every person's experiences, relationships and circumstances are unique, and the support, assessment and therapy they receive should reflect that.
Clients often describe me as warm, approachable, genuine, thoughtful and down-to-earth. Creating a space where people feel safe, respected and understood is fundamental to how I work. I see therapy as a collaborative process, where we work together to understand what has brought you to this point and what might help you move forward.
Alongside supporting people experiencing anxiety, depression, stress, low self-esteem, bereavement and relationship difficulties, I have developed specialist expertise in women's mental health, neurodiversity, and psychological assessment.
My work is guided by curiosity. Often people arrive believing there is something "wrong" with them. Together we explore how their experiences make sense in the context of their biology, relationships, family experiences, life events and the wider systems in which they live. Above all, my aim is to help people understand themselves more deeply, develop self-compassion and create meaningful, lasting change.
Outside of my professional life, I love spending time in nature, walking my dog, running, being with family and friends, and sharing good food with the people I care about.
